My verdict
For ₹1,500, no one makes a more durable, walking-friendly and beginner-friendly shoe. It is a 10/10 for office goers, walkers and all-day standing, and an 8/10 for beginner runners, held back by a tight, hot upper.
Pros
- Softest foam of the Sega shoes I tested
- Dense, durable midsole, about 1,000 km
- High drop and heel cushioning for heel strikers
- Full-coverage, grippy outsole for road and light trail
- Tough upper that resists tearing
- Excellent value at ₹1,500
Cons
- Tight toe box with no thumb's width of space
- Thick upper gets hot in summer
- Heavy, about 280 g in UK 8
- Copies the Nike Invincible 3
- Sold only on Sega's website, slow delivery
Avoid if
Avoid it if you need a roomy, breathable toe box, unless you size up.

Scores
Ride
7.5/10
It has the softest foam of the 12 Sega shoes I tested, dense and durable with a high drop, but it is far from the ZoomX feel it copies.
Design & Comfort
6.0/10
The outsole and build are great, but the upper is tight at the toes, thick and hot.
Value
8.5/10
For ₹1,500 it should last around 1,000 km, and every rupee is well spent.

I bought the Sega Rewell for ₹1,500 from Sega's website and ran in it two or three times. It copies the design of the Nike Invincible 3 and even tries to mimic ZoomX. It gets maybe 30% of the way there, without the same softness or springiness. I do not like copying, but for this price they give what they can. Of the 12 Sega shoes I have tested, this has the softest foam. It is soft, dense and durable. It feels like a high-drop shoe, at least 10 mm, with a high-stack heel of about 28 to 30 mm and 20 to 22 mm at the forefoot. That makes it good for beginners and heel strikers. The full-coverage rubber outsole with lugs grips on roads and light trails and will last. The upper is my only concern, as with every Sega shoe. It has a thin jacquard mesh over a thick, spongy inner layer, plus a velvet-coated protective layer at the forefoot. It will not tear, but it is heavy and hot in Indian summer. My UK 8 fitted exactly, which meant no thumb's width of space and fabric pressing on the top of my foot. If you have the same issue, go half a size or a full size up. It weighs about 280 g in UK 8. That feels heavy, but it buys durability. I expect around 1,000 km. For office goers, walkers and anyone standing all day, it is 10/10. Buy it with your eyes closed. For beginner runners from 70 to 90 kg, it is 8/10. It is sold only on Sega's website and delivery took about two weeks.
Alternatives
Other shoes worth considering. For a personal pick, try the shoe matcher.

WalkingRed Tape
Cloud-Style Walking Shoe
I would not recommend these for running, but as trendy walking and casual shoes under ₹1,500 they are worth every penny.

WalkingTen x You
Aeonic Recovery
The design and materials are top notch for ₹6,000, but the midsole feels flat and dead and the shoe weighs 390 g, so I would not recommend it for running. I am returning it; buy it only for walking and casual wear.

WalkingSkechers
Glide-Step
The Glide-Step is a very well-built, durable shoe for all-day walking and standing, but I am not satisfied with it for running at ₹12,000. It is heavy, stiff, hot and has no real rocker.
