|---|---|
| 8–8.9 | Strong pick with small trade-offs. |
| 7–7.9 | Good if it fits your needs or is on sale. |
| 6–6.9 | Only at a big discount. |
| < 6 | Skip it. Better options exist. |
Overall is the average of Ride, Design & Comfort and Value. Value is judged at the Indian price, so a cheap shoe that does its job well can outscore an expensive one.

My verdict
With bouncier ZoomX, Nike has produced an excellent shoe with a modern support system for easy runs and all-day wear.
Avoid if
Avoid it if you want one shoe for long runs. Lively as ZoomX is, it feels more like an all-day wear and walking shoe.
What works
- Most energetic foam among my support shoes (ZoomX)
- Max cushion with a modern design that helps the ankle without stressing the foot
- Nike street-wear look
What doesn't
- Doesn't feel like a proper long-run shoe
- Feels more like an all-day wear and walking shoe

Its rocker did the bending for me, which really helped my plantar fasciitis in the early days. One of the most protective cushioned shoes for plantar fasciitis, flat feet and other foot issues. Look for it at ₹12,000–13,000.

StabilityASICS
GT-1000 14
The GT-1000 14 is far better than the last version and a soft, comfortable mild-stability shoe for walking and beginners, but it is not worth ₹10,000. Buy the GT-2000 14 or another option instead, or wait until it drops to ₹4,000–5,000.

StabilityASICS
Gel-Kayano 32
Top quality in every way, and its guidance felt like a flat road for my foot. But for my weight and moderate overpronation it was too much shoe at ₹17,000; I would buy the GT-2000 14 or 13 instead. Cheaper option: ASICS now sells the Kayano 30 as the Gel-Jadeite 3, usually far below Kayano prices, and it's a good buy if you want this kind of stability for less.
