My verdict
For walking, long hours of standing, slow jogging, heavy runners, people with knee or hip pain and older people, nothing under ₹10,000 beats it. If you want energy return and fast running, forget it.
Pros
- Softest and most stable ride I have tried
- Very wide, stable platform
- Softer, premium-feeling engineered mesh upper
- Improved outsole pattern spreads the load
- 4 mm drop takes stress off knees and hips
- Often on sale for ₹6,000 to ₹7,000
- Half sizes available up to size 12
Cons
- Fights you when you try to run fast
- No energy return for fast or serious runners
- 2EE forefoot is very roomy
- No heel clip and a soft heel wall, so not for overpronators
- Lower durability for heavy runners, around 500 km
Avoid if
Avoid it if you want energy return and fast running, or if you overpronate.

Ride
6.0/10
Extremely soft and stable with Fresh Foam X and a 4 mm drop, but it resists fast running and offers no energy return.
Design & Comfort
9.0/10
The softer mesh upper feels premium, and the wide platform and better outsole add stability, but the 2EE forefoot was very roomy.
Value
8.0/10
MRP is ₹15,000, but at ₹6,000 to ₹8,000 on sale nothing under ₹10,000 matches it, though heavy runners may get only about 500 km.

Full review
I bought the More v6 with my own money from the official seller. I have been dealing with a slipped disc, plantar fasciitis and a heel spur, so I run every other day and look for the softest shoe I can find. I have run, walked and stood in this one a lot. It is the softest and most stable shoe I have tried, like walking on a cotton mattress. The stack is about 44 mm at the heel and 40 mm at the forefoot, a 4 mm drop, with Fresh Foam X, which I think is the softest foam in the industry. The foam absorbs the impact, and the low drop moves stress to the ankle and calf and away from the knee and hip. The trade-off is that it fights you if you try to run fast. Running in it felt like strapping a bed to my feet. New Balance fixed the small issues I had with the More v5. The engineered mesh upper is now much softer and feels premium when you touch it and step in. The platform is very wide, so it feels stable despite the height. The outsole pattern is better designed than last year, and I felt it spread the load correctly. My one complaint is the forefoot. I bought the 2EE wide version to try it, and the forefoot is very roomy, more than my feet need. The 2EE is not sold in India. If you have wide feet and run aggressively, avoid it. Any weight from 70 kg up works, and I would say it is made for runners of 100 to 130 kg. The catch is durability. A shoe this soft will not last 1,000 km for them; expect around 500 km. Between 70 and 100 kg durability improves, and at 70 to 75 kg you could get 800 to 1,000 km if you maintain it. Slight pronation is fine, but overpronators should look elsewhere. The heel wall is soft and there is no heel clip. I ran at 6:00/km and slower, from 7:00 to 12:00/km, including walking and slow jogging. If you run faster than 6:00/km there are much better options. It suits walking, standing for 12 to 16 hours, slow jogging, heavy runners, people with knee or hip pain, and older people as a gift. The MRP is ₹15,000, but Flipkart and Myntra regularly sell it for ₹6,000 to ₹7,000, and followers have bought it for ₹5,000 to ₹6,000 in sales. New Balance sells half sizes up to size 12, and sold-out sizes usually return within two weeks. The cheaper you find it, the higher my rating goes. Between ₹6,000 and ₹8,000 it is excellent value.

Superblast 3
If money is no issue and you want one shoe that makes you love running, the Superblast 3 is the one I recommend. No other shoe this year gave me this much fun, though the soft exposed midsole wears quickly.

Vomero Plus
One of my top three max-cushion daily trainers of 2025; I couldn't find any problem with it for its purpose. It's expensive at ₹16,000, and it suits runners at 5 to 6 min/km, not slow, heavy or unstable runners.

MagMax Nitro
The MagMax is one of the most comfortable shoes I tested this year and a protective max-cushion shoe for slow, easy running, scoring 38/50. If you get it for ₹12,000, close your eyes and buy it.
