| Pros | Big improvement over the previous version · Very soft, springy FF Blast midsole · Light, breathable, soft jacquard mesh upper · Felt lighter than the listed 270 g · Durable outsole with good wet traction · Good stability for beginners with mild overpronation | Bounce and energy return rare in a stability shoe · Strong, traditional stability: wide platform, raised medial foam, plate · Premium engineered mesh upper and build · Thick outsole with good traction · Foam expected to last 1,000 km · Great value at ₹6,000–9,000 |
| Cons | Not worth ₹10,000 · Soft, not stiff, heel clip, not for extreme overpronation · Not for runners over about 80 kg · Heel gel is just marketing · Better options at the same price or less | Runs about a full size small · Snug fit even after sizing up · Not for fast paces around 4:00/km |
| Avoid if | Avoid it at ₹10,000, if you weigh over 80 kg, or if you have extreme overpronation. | Avoid it if you want a shoe for fast running around 4:00/km pace. |

ASICS
GT-1000 14
The GT-1000 14 is far better than the last version and a soft, comfortable mild-stability shoe for walking and beginners, but it is not worth ₹10,000. Buy the GT-2000 14 or another option instead, or wait until it drops to ₹4,000–5,000.
Avoid if: Avoid it at ₹10,000, if you weigh over 80 kg, or if you have extreme overpronation.

860 v14
The 860v14 is one of the best shoes for flat feet and overpronation, and for me it beat the Kayano with extra bounce and stability. I give it 9 out of 10 overall, and at ₹6,000–9,000 it is a highly recommended buy.
Avoid if: Avoid it if you want a shoe for fast running around 4:00/km pace.
