My verdicts

Adidas

AeroVortexGlide

At ₹2,000 this is an Adidas I really like for absolute beginners who want one shoe for walking, gym, occasional jogging and casual wear. It is not for serious runners, and I place it at B-, between B and C.

Avoid if: Avoid it if you have weak ankles or calves, past injuries there, overpronate, or run faster than 6:00/km or more than 10 km.

Ten x You

Aeonic Recovery

The design and materials are top notch for ₹6,000, but the midsole feels flat and dead and the shoe weighs 390 g, so I would not recommend it for running. I am returning it; buy it only for walking and casual wear.

Avoid if: Avoid it if you want a shoe for actual running beyond about 5 km or for any faster running.
