मेरा फ़ैसला

The Tempus 2 is the softest stability shoe I have tried, light and versatile, and at ₹7,000 to ₹9,000 one of the best value stability options. Avoid it if you are a neutral runner or have high arches.

खूबियाँ

  • Softest stability shoe he has tried
  • Good rebound for a stability shoe
  • Light, about 260 g in US 9
  • Light upper with good toe box height
  • Gusseted tongue and strong heel clip
  • Versatile, one shoe for all training
  • Comfortable for walking

कमियाँ

  • Outsole grip felt unsure on loose gravel
  • Outsole durability doubtful beyond 500 km
  • Tight medial side
  • High arch may irritate neutral or high-arched runners
  • Not for wide feet in the standard width

न लें अगर

Avoid it if you are a neutral runner or have high arches, as the raised arch can cause irritation.

Its PWRRUN PB blend made it the softest and most springy stability shoe I have tried, though less bouncy than a Zoom foam shoe.

डिज़ाइन और आराम

7.5/10

The light upper, roomy toe box height, gusseted tongue and heel clip held my foot well, but the medial side is tight and the arch is high.

At ₹7,000 to ₹9,000 it is one of the best value stability options, though the outsole may not last much beyond 500 km.

पूरा रिव्यू

I bought the Tempus 2 because Saucony put its super foam in a stability trainer. The midsole blends PWRRUN PB with their EVA-based PWRRUN. Of all the stability shoes I have tried, this was the softest, though not as soft as New Balance. It also had better rebound than other stability shoes, but not as much as a Zoom foam shoe like the Vomero Plus. For a runner who pronates, it is enough. It weighs about 260 g in my US 9 and felt even lighter on the run, mostly because the upper is light. Many stability shoes, like the Kayano, feel heavier than they are because of thick, plush uppers. The toe box has good height, so I had no rubbing, which I did get in the GT-2000. Toe box width is moderate. If you have wide feet, go for the wide version. The gusseted tongue and strong heel clip held my foot well with no irritation. Heel padding is moderate, not as plush as the Kayano or GT-2000. The medial side feels a bit tight, as in most stability shoes. The arch is quite high, so neutral runners and people with high arches may get irritation. The outsole is my one real disappointment. On a highway edge with small gravel I worried about skidding, which I did not feel in other shoes. I think Saucony stepped down a little on the outsole here. With the softer rubber, I expect durability to be a bit lower. It should reach 500 km, but I am not sure about beyond that. Online it sells for about ₹7,000 to ₹9,000. It is expensive, but light, versatile stability shoes are rare, and I see it as one of the best options. Between this and the GT-2000 13, I would pick this. It is also comfortable for walking. If you want one light moderate stability shoe for all your training within ₹9,000, try it.
