Light and stylish, but the foam is dead. A fashion shoe, not a running shoe

My verdict
The foam is dead and the plate is cheap plastic, so I would not recommend it to serious runners even at ₹3,000 to ₹4,500. It only suits light, slow, occasional runners who want a fashionable shoe.
Pros
- Light, about 250 g in UK8
- Very breathable paper-thin jacquard mesh
- Good heel lockdown from the lacing
- Grippy on dry tarmac
- Fashionable colourways
Cons
- Dead foam with no energy return
- Brand's TPU claim is not true
- Plastic 'plate' does nothing
- Runs very large
- No heel counter, ankle collapses inwards
- No grip in wet conditions
- Not worth ₹6,500 retail
Avoid if
Avoid it if you are a serious runner, run fast, weigh over 80 kg, or have flat feet, overpronation, Achilles pain or plantar fasciitis.

Ride
5.0/10
The foam is dead with no energy return, though it feels soft at very slow paces.
Design & Comfort
6.0/10
The upper is light and breathable and the lacing locks the heel, but it runs very large and has no heel counter, so my ankle collapsed even while walking.
Value

I would not recommend it at ₹6,500, and even at ₹3,000 to ₹4,500 I would not buy it for proper running when better shoes exist.

Many people asked me to test this after positive reviews, so I bought it. The brand claims TPU, but it is not real TPU. No Indian-market shoe at this price gives you original TPU. The foam feels like squeezed-out thermocol, like EVA with all the life taken out. It is soft at slow paces of 7 to 14 min/km, but there is no energy return. I would not use it for racing. The so-called plate is cheap plastic and I do not know why it is there. It runs very large. My UK8 had room for another finger beyond my thumb width, and UK7 was too small. Most people can go one size down. It is light, about 250 g in my UK8. The paper-thin jacquard mesh is very breathable and reasonably strong. Even with all that space, the lacing locked my heel well. The tongue is not gusseted but is good. There is no heel counter at all. Even walking, my ankle collapsed inwards. If you overpronate, have flat feet, ankle pain, Achilles pain or plantar fasciitis, avoid it. The thin rubber outsole grips well on dry tarmac, but on a wet patch it had no grip because there is no tread pattern. It suits runners under 80 kg with neutral or high arches who run 3 to 5 km a few times a week, with long runs of 8 km at most, and who like the fashionable colourways. I expect budget shoes like this to last about 400 km at most. At the ₹6,500 retail price I would not recommend it. On sale it is ₹3,000 to ₹4,500, and at that price I would still not buy it for proper running. There are better choices: Under Armour Rogue 5, Rogue 6 and Sonic 7, ASICS Gel Pulse 16 and Excite 10, Adidas Duramo Speed, and the Elivar Arc Racer for genuine TPU.
